RJG opens injection molding training facility in Mexico

RJG and Yanfeng executives seal their training centre partnership.

Injection molding training and consulting firm RJG Inc. is opening its first training facility in Mexico in April in partnership with auto parts molder Yanfeng Global Automotive Interiors.

The joint training facility is located at Yanfeng’s manufacturing plant in Queretaro, Mexico.

“We are very excited to bring our world-class training to the Mexico area for our current and new customers,” said Scott Van Hoven, RJG’s new product commercial consultant. “Customers will now have the option to be able to attend a wider offering of RJG’s courses in a public format within Mexico.”

Having a training facility in Mexico will allow RJG’s customers to receive the training they want with shorter lead times and less travel, Van Hoven said, which in turn leads to cost savings. RJG will now be able to train an even larger workforce on decoupled and systematic molding strategies.

The first course held at Yanfeng’s facility will be Systematic Molding on April 2 – 4, 2019.
